Biopsy Handling System

Project Goal: Develop an enclosed system to transfer biopsy samples from containers to cassettes for automated lab analysis

Design Approach: Defined sequence of actions required to transfer biopsy samples and created an automated assembly line with multiple stations to complete tasks. Developed stepper motor driven linear actuators to perform precise maneuvers. Lastly, designed enclosure, considering styling and user interface.

Results: Successfully created proof-of-concept prototype system used to support investor pitches.
